A. Once you have determined PALSOnlineRenewal.com fits your needs, you can register by clicking the purple "Register Now" button that is prominent in the top of most of our website pages.
B. Immediately upon placing an order, you will be emailed a confirmation email that contains a link allowing you to access the exam. You may also begin the test by clicking the link on the confirmation page or using the username and password you receive in the email on our exam login page.
C. The exam consists of 50 questions made up of multiple choice and true/false questions.
D. The exam is not timed but must be completed in one sitting as partially completed exams cannot be saved. We recommend to print the exam and study offline and then return to complete the exam if you may not be able to finish the exam at once.
E. We do not offer any online study materials but do suggest you develop your knowledge base using the official AHA endorsed PALS provider manual offered for sale on our website.
F. When your exam has been completed and properly submitted, you will receive an email letting you know your results. Exams are graded by our automatic system and a pass or fail email will be sent within 30 minutes. Those who fail may immediately retake the test at no additional cost.
G. If you pass the exam with a score of 80% or higher, our staff will send you your digital provider card containing your name, date of completion as well as date of expiration.
H. Our shipping department will mail the hard copy provider card according to the shipping option chosen within one business day. PALS provider cards expire exactly 2 years from the issue date.
